Enjoying the Father Heart of God

Men will gather in the Welcome Room for a study, Enjoying the Father Heart of God.  The first gathering will be October 4th and continue once a month on the first Wednesday of each month, 7:30 - 9:00pm.

Saturday Morning Study

This study is resuming on September 16, 2017:

A men's bible study group meets on Saturday mornings in room 3 at 8am  (not including the second  which are Saturdays of Build and Repair Network meetings) and will begin their time of study with some worship time, some lectio divina of the scripture passage of the day (as found in the annual reading guide), some prayer over shared concerns, and will read through John Eldredge's, Moving Mountains: Praying with Passion, Confidence, and Authority

This study group is always open to new members.

"Everyone has a reason to pray. We long to see God come through for us and those we love. But sometimes he doesn't, and where does that leave us? Are we doing something wrong? Does he not hear? How come some people's prayers seem more effective than others? Then we lose heart and give up on prayer—the very weapon God has given us to not lose heart." - Ransomed Heart Ministries

Build and Repair Network

Men’s Ministry’s Build And Repair Network (B.A.R.N.) serves widows, senior and single moms within our congregation and, at times, in the Simsbury community as well. The B.A.R.N. teams meet on the second Saturday of each month to share coffee, fellowship, and a devotion before heading off in teams to those we are assigned to help. If you are interested in serving or know of someone in need of help with repairs, yard work, cleaning or any home projects, please contact mensministry@cpcbarn.org
