You asked for a way to get to know one another a little better. We are launching an online church directory. Watch your email for your login information.
Didn't get log in information? Let one of our administrators know. They will be stationed after service near the Digital Directory Help Desk sign.
Why are we doing this?
The purpose is to improve community and share relevant data in real time. Our last printed directory is outdated, and this allows us to stay current and helps us make connections with each other.
Who will see my data?
The directory is a closed system, with access given to members and regular attenders of this church. You are in control of what you share. We pre-loaded some information for your convenience, but you are free to remove or change anything.
How does my picture get added?
You can add both individual photos and family photos to share from your own photo library. Also, professional photographers from our church will be hosting time for photos this fall, or you can always ask a friend to snap a photo on your phone you can upload now. You can change your photo as often as you’d like.
How can I see the directory?
Mobile Phone: ctrn online directory, enter mobile code CPCBARNWEB
Computer: link on our website https://cpcbarnweb.ctrn.co/signup.php
In Print: We are collecting names of those who prefer a printed copy. We expect enough people will have uploaded photos so that we can share printed copies by Christmas. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to get a copy.
Who can help if I have questions?
Sundays in October, we will have a photo directory help desk after services. You can also contact Emily George 860-921-8080 or Julie Peacock 860-978-6096.
Equipping STUDENTS to love God and love others . . . A stellar team brings their creativity and genuine love for youth, middle school and high school, to a weekly large group meeting, and are committed to building long-term spiritually based relationships in small group personal setting.
Our youth groups and activities welcome any young person including friends from school and other activities, and non-believing friends. We encourage young people to ask questions, explore their faith and make it their own rather than simply a family tradition.
We strive to make youth groups relevant to their lives, engaging and fun. We create an emotionally safe atmosphere where individuals are respected, listened to, and taken seriously. Our leaders are glad to engage in one-on-one mentoring, discipleship, and simply being a sounding board; they also share their own lives and hearts as they seek to connect with the students.
Email Will Downie to find out more.
As leaders and volunteers in the Covenant Presbyterian Church Children’s Ministry, we are committed to providing a warm welcome to our families, a safe environment for our children and a loving place for both children and parents to experience the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
We provide Gospel-Centered classes for students age 0 to fifth grade, after the singing portion of our 10:30 Service and during our summer services.
All are welcome!
If you have any questions about our leaders, our curriculum, or getting involved, please email Hannah Lawton, Children's Ministry Director
Each fall and spring, the women's ministry facilitates small group bible study using either a book or video study series. You can expect some time to gather and swap the stories of your week, spend some time reading the bible, asking questions and praying together.
If you want to be alerted to new studies, sign up for the women's email list here.
If you would like more information about Women’s Ministry please contact us at email@example.com.
Men’s Ministry’s Build And Repair Network (B.A.R.N.) serves widows, senior and single moms within our congregation and, at times, in the Simsbury community as well. The B.A.R.N. teams meet on the second Saturday of each month to share coffee, fellowship, and a devotion before heading off in teams to those we are assigned to help.
Please consider serving once/month (7:00 am-10:00 am). We usually have more needs than we have teams so your help is always appreciated.
If you are interested in serving or know of someone in need of help with repairs, yard work, cleaning or any home projects, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or sign up for the Men's Ministry emails here.
In addition to Build and Repair Network, you can attend various men's bilble studies. We have a group that meets Wednesdays at 7:00pm , Friday mornings at 6:00am, and Saturday morning at 8am. For more details, please contact email@example.com.
We also host special men's events which include a golf outing in August, a barbecue at the end of June, and a conference for men (typically in March).
