Covenant Day Camp is a half-day, week-long experience for children entering Pre-K 4 - 6th grade. It is an environment in which children have the opportunity to discover that the christian faith is a living relationship with a loving God. Children will travel in small groups (known as Tribes) to Artisan markets where they will enjoy hands-on crafts and activities. Street theater dramas will bring to life the Good News of God's great gift in the person of Jesus Christ. Games will solidify the camp themes through fun and play. Each day will start and end with large group singing.
This year our camp will be a hybrid of the Day Camp of years past and a more traditional Vacation Bible School experience. Our theme this year is Spark Studios where we will spark our imagination and kick our creativity into high gear! We will discover that our creativity is a gift from the infinitely creative Creator who designed us for His glory. We will explore our artistic side and bring inventions to life. We'll discover, like King David, how to use our talents to bring glory to God.
There is a fee of $50 to offset the cost of materials. This fee covers all five days of Day Camp, snacks and drinks, and the many crafts campers will make. Scholarships are available by request.
To make Day Camp run smoothly we need many adult helpers in many roles both before and during camp.
Junior High and High School Volunteers
Junior High students (going into grades 7-8) and Senior High students (going into grades 9-12) are a welcome and necessary part of Day Camp. Student volunteers can expect to grow in their personal relationship with Christ through worship, participating in a Ministry Team that serves the younger campers, daily devotions, leadership training, and FUN. There is also an optional Youth Trip after camp ends on Wednesday to give students an opportunity to bond and fellowship outside of leading Day Camp (trip cost applies).
Our Online Registration has temporarily closed to prepare printed materials for camp.
You can still register in person on Monday morning, August 1st.
